Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended Wheelbase Series II, Pale Blue & Black

The Extended Wheelbase Phantom is 220 mm longer than the standard car, and all of that length goes to the rear. The rear compartment can be closed off from the front by a partition and is soundproofed for privacy, which Rolls-Royce calls the Privacy Suite, and above it the Starlight Headliner uses more than 1,500 fibre optic points to suggest a night sky, an idea first used on the Phantom Celestial. Rolls-Royce presents the Phantom Extended as the chauffeur-driven car of the pair. The Series II of 2022 changed little inside beyond a slightly thicker steering wheel; outside it brought a Pantheon grille lit from within, laser-cut starlights in the headlamps and new wheel designs.

This model is two-tone, a pale silver blue on the body with gloss black over the bonnet, roof and boot, the black also framing the tail. The faceted multi-spoke wheels have polished faces. The rear cabin is the part to look at: white leather seats with the RR monogram on the headrests, a wood-veneered centre console between them and wood on the door panels, under a dark, speckled headliner. It sits on a black velvet base with white stitching, and the etched plaque reads Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended Wheelbase II, Jim&Bill and Henson&Heaven, one of 20. H&H builds it at 1:18.
