Rolls-Royce revealed the second-generation Ghost on 1 September 2020. It moved to the company's aluminium Architecture of Luxury spaceframe, shared with the Phantom and the Cullinan, and sent its 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12, 571 PS and 850 Nm, through an eight-speed automatic to all four wheels, with all-wheel steering and a new Planar suspension that uses extra dampers to filter out fine vibrations. The grille was lit from within, the first of its kind on a Rolls-Royce.
This model takes the Ghost a long way from its usual restraint. The paint is a colour-shift finish that runs from deep red over the roof and bonnet to green and purple along the flanks, laid over a darker crystalline pattern, so no two panels look quite alike. The Rolls-Royce badges are picked out in orange, the wheels are black multi-spoke designs with orange centre badges, and a carbon front lip, carbon sills and a carbon rear diffuser with four tailpipes add a body kit the factory car does not have. Through the glass the cabin is orange-tan leather, and Ghost name plates are fitted front and rear. It stands on a black leather base with a plaque reading Rolls-Royce Ghost, built at 1:18.
