RAUH-Welt Begriff, rough world concept, is the name Akira Nakai gave to his Porsche work in Japan: air-cooled 911s rebuilt with new bumpers, side skirts, flared arches and spoilers, and a Zweite Entwicklung sticker, second development, on the tail. This car wears the Apple Computer colours of the Kremer-built 935 K3 that Bob Garretson raced in 1980, Le Mans included. RWB has built a 964 in that scheme: a 1992 Carrera 4 completed at its Austrian franchise in 2017 for a German client, with a single-turbo 3.6-litre engine and Messer three-piece wheels, which RM Sotheby's sold in March 2021 for €121,000.
The model is gloss white with the rainbow stripe sweeping over the bonnet and along both sides, #89 and H&R on the doors, apple computer inc. on the sills and the rainbow apple on the rear wings. RAUH-Welt runs across a gold windscreen banner, Messer is lettered on the doors, and RWB Zweite Entwicklung sits across the tail under a tall two-tier wing. Gold mesh wheels with polished rims fill the arches, a red roll cage fills the cabin, and the turbocharger and exhaust hang exposed beneath the rear valance. It stands on a gloss carbon-effect base, built at 1:18.
