Porsche 997.2 Turbo S, Silver

The 997.2 Turbo S was the high-water mark of the 997 generation, the first 911 Turbo with direct injection, and it left nothing on the table: the 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six made 530 horsepower, drove all four wheels through PDK only, and came fully loaded as standard with ceramic brakes, the Sport Chrono pack and centre-lock wheels. It was the 911 for people who had stopped reading the options list: the definitive everyday Turbo, fast in any weather, restrained enough that the yellow PCCB calipers behind the black centre-locks were the only loud thing about it. The red interior glimpsed through the glass is the giveaway that this was somebody's properly specified car, not a base build.
