Porsche 992 GT3 RS, Light Blue

Porsche announced the 992 generation GT3 RS in August 2022 and built it around downforce. Its rear wing has a fixed main plane and an active upper element that opens automatically or at the press of a button on the steering wheel, a system Porsche drew from the drag reduction system of Formula 1. At 285 km/h the car makes 860 kg of downforce, roughly twice the figure of the 991.2 GT3 RS before it. The naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat six gives 525 PS. Look at the body and most of it is there to manage air: the vents in the bonnet, the openings behind the front wheels and the wing supports rising from the engine cover.

H&H paints this one a pale, solid blue and leaves the bonnet, the louvred tops of the front wings and the roof in black carbon. GT3 RS is lettered in white along the lower doors, the mirror caps are carbon, and silver centre-lock wheels show yellow calipers behind the spokes. The wing's main plane is painted to match the body and sits on black supports with black end plates. Black bucket seats can be seen through the glass. The car stands on a white leather base stitched in orange, its plaque reading Porsche, Henson&Heaven, 992 GT3 RS and the edition, one of 30. H&H builds it at 1:18.
