Porsche first offered forged five-leaf wheels from Fuchs on the 911S for the 1967 model year, and the design has been part of the 911's look ever since. Singer's Dynamics and Lightweighting Study keeps that five-spoke pattern but sets it under wings widened in carbon fibre, on a chassis and suspension reworked with Williams Advanced Engineering. Introduced in 2018, the DLS was Singer's attempt, made together with its clients, at what it calls the most advanced air-cooled 911 in the world, powered by a flat-six built in partnership with Hans Mezger. Every panel of its body is carbon fibre.
Here the car is a solid yellow with no centre stripe, only black sill stripes framing the PORSCHE script and black lettering across the tail. The wheels have black centres inside polished rims, which suits the plain paint. Through the glass the cabin is orange, from the bucket seats and door cards to the dashboard band, with a carbon centre tunnel and a black three-spoke wheel. The engine lid opens on the carbon intake with its Williams Advanced Engineering plate, the cooling fan and gold-finished fittings. It sits on a carbon-weave base, and the plaque reads Limited Edition, one of 40. IVY builds it in resin at 1:12.
