Porsche 911 Singer DLS, Pale Green

From a distance the DLS keeps the outline of the 964, but Williams reworked its surfaces using computational fluid dynamics, with the former Porsche engineer Norbert Singer advising on the aerodynamics. A redesigned oil-cooler intake and new venting, together with a new front splitter, removed lift at the front axle. At the rear the fixed ducktail was reshaped, and it works with a channel in the roof, a spoiler at the base of the rear window and a diffuser to add downforce, all over a completely flat floor.

This model wears a pale metallic green with a grey cast, edged by a white stripe that runs along the sills and both bumpers, with PORSCHE cut into it on the doors and repeated in white across the tail. The mesh intakes in the front bumper and the carbon splitter beneath them are well defined. The five-spoke centre-lock wheels have champagne spokes, dark centres and gold nuts, and a gold fuel cap sits on the bonnet. Inside, the shell seats are white with tartan inserts, matched by white door cards and a pale roll cage, against carbon on the dashboard and tunnel. The carbon-weave base carries a plaque reading D&C, with the Singer script and Limited Edition, one of 20. It is built at 1:18, in a run of 20 for each colour.
