Porsche 911 RWB (993), Matte Black #77

An RWB conversion is built from a short list of parts: new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, much wider arches and a large rear wing, with choices in arch width, canards and the exposed rivets that hold it all on. Akira Nakai fits them by hand, and on a 993, the last of the air-cooled 911s, the result is a car far wider than Porsche ever drew it, sitting low over deep dished wheels. This one is satin black with gold lettering throughout: the number 77 on the doors and bonnet, OBA BONE along the sills, RW-Republic on the front lip, Army Girl and Promodet on the wing, 1048 Style on the tail, and der Dritte schlag, the third strike, in script on the side of the rear wing.

The model is finished in flat matte black, and apart from the gold graphics the only colour comes from the red brake calipers, the amber headlamp lenses and the lit tail lamps. The wheels are matte black five-spokes with deep black lips, on tyres lettered idlers, and the RWB plate sits between twin tailpipes. RAUH-Welt runs in black on a gold band across the top of the windscreen, above two Recaro seats and a roll cage. It stands on a black carbon pattern base, and the brushed plaque carries the ivymage logo, 993 RWB and an edition size of 40. It is made by IVY under its ivymage name.
