Carbon fibre is central to the Classic Study. Singer takes an owner's 964-generation 911, strips it, and replaces much of the steel bodywork with carbon panels shaped to the long-bonnet lines of the early cars. This commission leaves the material on show. The weave runs visibly across the bonnet, wings, doors and bumpers under a deep clear finish, so the car reads as near black from a distance and shows its woven texture as the light moves across it. Red is the only other colour on the outside, in the PORSCHE script and the wheels, while a red roll hoop behind the seats and two driving lamps on the bonnet give it a harder edge.
The model carries the carbon pattern across the body, finished in high gloss, with the PORSCHE lettering in red along each flank and across the tail. The eight-spoke wheels are painted the same red, with red calipers behind. Inside, the red continues across the seats, door panels and roll hoop, beneath a black dashboard with a drilled three-spoke wheel and perforated aluminium footwell plates. The engine lid lifts to reveal the flat-six with its six mesh-capped intake trumpets and ribbed fan housing, set against a red bulkhead. A carbon-patterned base suits the theme, and its brushed plaque carries the Singer Vehicle Design script and the edition, one of 15. IVY builds it at 1:12.
