Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Mint Green & White

The 992 GT3 RS was designed around air. Porsche moved from three radiators to one, set centrally in the nose as on the 911 RSR, and used the space freed at the sides for active aerodynamics. Continuously adjustable wing elements in the nose and on the two-part rear wing can be set for more grip or less drag, and at the press of a button a drag reduction system flattens them for the straights. Porsche quoted 860 kg of total downforce at 285 km/h. The bodywork shows the whole idea: the louvres over the front wheels, the inlets behind them in the style of the 911 GT1, and a wing hung from swan-neck stays with its upper edge above the roof.

This example wears a bright mint green with white across the bonnet, the front wings and the roof. White stripes sweep back along the doors to a large white roundel carrying the number 911, Porsche script runs along the sills, and the wing is finished in body colour with a white stripe. Silver multi-spoke wheels show yellow calipers, carbon trims the splitter and side blades, and a plain Porsche plate sits between the twin tailpipes. The specification plaque on its white leather base, stitched in red, names the 911 GT3 RS (992) and gives the edition as one of 8. It is built at 1:18.
