Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Metallic Dark Bronze

The 992 GT3 RS, announced in August 2022, is shaped almost entirely by airflow. Porsche replaced the usual three radiators with one large unit mounted centrally in the nose, then used the space this freed at the front corners for active flaps, and let the hot air out through the big vents in the bonnet. At the back, a swan-neck wing whose top sits above the roofline carries a drag reduction system, the first on a road Porsche, and the whole car makes 860 kg of downforce at 285 km/h. Under it all is a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six of 525 PS that revs to 9,000 rpm. This one has been given an unexpected job: a matching roof box rides on a rack over the tail, as if the owner meant to drive to the Alps rather than the circuit.

IVY finishes it in Metallic Dark Bronze, a rich brown with a copper sparkle, set against exposed carbon on the bonnet and roof and a black GT3 RS script along each flank. The black wheels and carbon wing keep the rest of the car dark. The roof rack lifts off, taking with it the box lettered PORSCHE and THULE. It stands on a white leather base with red stitching, and the plaque reads Limited Edition, one of 25. IVY builds it in resin at 1:18.
