Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Alba Cielo

The 997-generation GT3 RS was Porsche's answer to a simple question: how narrow can the gap between a road car and a racing car be made before it stops mattering. Built on the wider Carrera 4 body, fitted with a fixed carbon wing, a single-mass flywheel and the naturally aspirated 3.6-litre flat-six wound out to 8,400rpm, it was the homologation tool that let Porsche go racing, and it wore its intent openly, with the GT3 RS script running the length of the door and the wheels finished in a colour visible from the pit wall. This is a driver's machine first and a collector's object second, which is exactly why collectors want it. The example here is shown in a deep aubergine metallic that shifts towards violet in the light, set against the contrast orange centre-lock-look wheels and matching decals.

Make Up captures the 997 stance well at this scale (the low nose, the upright tail, the crisp set of the rear wing), and the colour-shift paint reads convincingly under light, with the orange graphics laid in cleanly against the dark body.
