Porsche 911 DLS, Silver

Two Singer DLS cars made their public debut at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The project joined Singer with Williams Advanced Engineering, part of the Williams Grand Prix Engineering group, and Williams refined the underbody and surface aerodynamics using computational fluid dynamics, with Norbert Singer, the Porsche engineer the company is named after, as a consultant. The cars were to be restored and modified in Britain at Singer at Grove, on the Williams campus in Oxfordshire. Underneath the carbon body and widened wings, each one is still a Porsche 964.

Make Up finishes this one in plain silver metallic with no stripes, which leaves the red cabin to stand out: red seats and a red roll cage show through the glass. The Fuchs-pattern centre-lock wheels have dark centres, gold centre nuts and silver rims, with Brembo calipers behind the spokes. Carbon runs along the sills and under the tail, where twin tailpipes flank the diffuser. The ducktail carries a Singer script on its black grille, and a DLS plate sits between the red tail lamps. It stands on a light grey textured base with a red and white plaque. Make Up builds it at 1:18.
