The Zonda R was never meant for public roads. Built around a 6.0-litre Mercedes-AMG V12 derived from the CLK-GTR's race engine, it shed every road-going compromise the standard Zonda still carried: a longer wheelbase, a magnesium-and-carbon body, an inboard pushrod suspension, and the towering rear wing visible here. Horacio Pagani's instinct for sculpture survives the track focus, the bare carbon weave, the quadruple central exhaust, the rifle-bolt mechanical detailing, so this remains a Zonda first and a track weapon second. It set a Nürburgring lap that embarrassed cars with twice its production run, and it speaks to the collector who values an artist's hand over a homologation badge.
H&H captures the matte carbon body with the exposed weave reading clearly across the flanks, picked out by the turquoise pinstripe and orange accent line, with the gold split-rim wheels and rear diffuser detailing intact. A track car rendered with the patience of a road one. H&H presents it at 1:18 on a leather-trimmed base.
