Long after the Zonda had made way for its successor, Pagani kept the name alive through its One-Off Series, a line of cars built for particular customers, sometimes on new chassis and sometimes rebuilt from existing ones, including Zondas that had been crashed. All of them use the 7.3-litre AMG V12 at 760 PS and 780 Nm, and each is built to its customer's specification. The King is one of these cars. Its plaque gives chassis 760065, and it keeps the core Zonda shape, from the cluster of four pipes in the centre of the tail to the round lamp groups at each corner, while adding a wide front splitter, a roof scoop and a large rear wing on twin uprights.
The body is gloss exposed carbon throughout, the weave lined up from panel to panel under a deep lacquer. Black multi-spoke wheels carry Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres with drilled discs behind them, the Horacio Pagani signature sits on the flank, and the tail carries Zonda in black script beside KING in red. Through the rear mesh there are glimpses of blue hoses in the engine bay, and the carbon mirrors stand on slim stalks. The black base has a carbon top and a plaque between Pagani's oval badge and the Henson & Heaven mark, stating an edition of 30. H&H builds it as a large-scale model.
