The Zonda was first to be called the Fangio F1, after Juan Manuel Fangio. After his death in 1995 it was renamed for the Zonda, a hot wind that blows over Argentina, and the car was shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 1999. Its V12s came from Mercedes, and Mercedes-AMG designed and built the later 7.3-litre engine. The 764 Passione was a one-off Zonda built for a private customer and reported in 2012 and 2013. Reports at the time described the 7.3-litre AMG V12 with about 20 hp more than the Zonda R, a six-speed manual gearbox and unpainted carbon fibre bodywork with Italian tricolore accents.

This one is in Exposed Carbon Fibre, the weave reproduced across the nose, wings and doors, with fine tricolore lines running back over the bonnet and the flag on the mirror stems. A roof scoop sits above the red cabin, and red calipers show behind black multi-spoke wheels. At the rear, the twin-post wing sits over the round cluster of four tailpipes, the round lamps and the carbon diffuser, with Zonda script on the tail. It stands on a black suede base with white stitching and a plaque reading 764 Passione. H&H builds it at 1:18.
