In 2018 two Pagani collectors asked Horacio Pagani for a long-tail version of the Huayra Coupé, and Pagani's special projects division, Pagani Grandi Complicazioni, spent two years on the styling with them. The Codalunga was presented on 16 June 2022 as an edition of five, all sold, from 7 million euros. Pagani drew on the long-tail cars that raced at Le Mans in the 1960s: the engine cover is 360 mm longer than the coupé's, the rear grilles are gone, and the titanium exhaust, 4.4 kg with a ceramic coating, is left in plain view. The V12 makes 840 PS and 1,100 Nm, and the car weighs 1,280 kg.
BBR finishes it in Bianco Malta at the front, a gloss white that darkens through a speckled metallic grey towards the tail. The cabin is tan, the wheels are black with red brake callipers, and the long engine cover runs back to the four exhausts in their round cluster, flanked by triple round tail lamps. It sits on a grey leather base with the Codalunga script in silver and a small bronze plaque. BBR builds it at 1:18.
