Nissan 400R, Silver & Grey

Nismo built the 400R on the R33 Skyline GT-R, and the name set out its aims: 400 for horsepower and R for racing. Its RB-X GT2 engine was the twin-turbo RB26DETT bored and stroked to 2.8 litres by REINIK, with forged pistons, high-lift camshafts and higher-output turbochargers, and it made 400 hp and 470 Nm. Nismo added its own exhaust, a twin-plate clutch and an intercooler system, along with wider bumpers, side skirts, a carbon-fibre bonnet and rear spoiler, and 18-inch Nismo LM-GT1 wheels. The plan was for 100 cars, but only 44 were made before R33 production ended in 1998.

Make Up finishes it in metallic silver grey, with a black stripe along each flank that carries the 400R name on the rear wing. The wheels are white five-spokes, Nismo 400R plates sit in the front and rear bumpers, and the round lamps in the front bumper have red lenses. At the back are the four round tail lamps, the Skyline script, a black wing and a single exhaust. The pale grey suede base carries a black plaque reading Nismo 400R. Make Up builds it at 1:18.
