Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series, Metallic Silver

The SLS AMG Black Series was the most extreme version of Mercedes-AMG's gullwing, built from 2013 on the SLS's aluminium spaceframe. AMG took 70 kg out of the car, widened the track, reworked the hand-built 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V8 to rev to 8,000 rpm and make 631 PS (622 bhp) at 7,400 rpm. Its purpose shows in the deep carbon front splitter, the open louvres venting the front arches, the fixed carbon rear wing and the quad tailpipes set into the diffuser. It was a road car engineered like a homologation special, for drivers who wanted the noise and the throttle response without apology.

H&H casts it at 1:18 in a cool metallic silver that catches the panel curvature along the long bonnet and haunches, set against gloss-black forged wheels and the bronze-toned caliper accents behind them. Mounted on a Black Series presentation base, it keeps the menace of the full-size car at scale.
