Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series, AMG ONE Edition

The SLS AMG Black Series was the hardest, most uncompromising version of Mercedes-AMG's gullwing revival: a stripped, widened, track-sharpened send-off for the 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V8 before turbocharging took over. AMG pulled weight out everywhere, stiffened the chassis, fitted a fixed carbon rear wing and a wider track, and let the front-mid-mounted engine sing to over 7,000 rpm. The long bonnet, the gullwing doors, the deep front splitter and quad tailpipes under the diffuser all read as serious here; this was a car built for drivers who wanted the SLS at its most honest and most ferocious.

This example wears a custom AMG ONE Edition treatment: a silver nose graduating to black across the rear haunches, broken by a scattered three-pointed-star pattern down the flanks, with a fine turquoise pinstripe ringing the black wheels. H&H builds it at 1:18 on a presentation base, the fade and star motif laid down cleanly across the bodywork. A purposeful car given a graphic, modern voice.
