Mercedes-Benz G63 Carlex Vintage, Pink & White

Carlex sells its Vintage G-Class as a series of named commissions rather than as one car offered in a range of paints. Fiamma is an intense orange, Sky is worked in shades of blue and navy, and Rose is pink, trimmed inside in pink Nappa leather. Each is based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63, with a body widened by 5 cm on each side, and Carlex supplies the cars with a certificate of authenticity. The styling borrows from the Mercedes of the 1970s: paint split in two tones at the waist, chrome bumpers and trim, and wheels made to look like the hubcaps of the period.

This model is finished in a pastel pink below the waist and white above, divided by a fine chrome strip, with pink hubcaps carrying the Mercedes star and a white spare wheel cover with a pink centre. The round Carlex Refined emblem fills the chrome grille, the bumpers are bright silver, and the tailgate carries a black Carlex script over a Vintage badge. Inside, almost everything is pink: the seats, faced in a pink and white chequered pattern, the perforated dashboard, the steering wheel and the door panels, with the Carlex script in chrome on the dash and Carlex 2025 on the centre console. The car stands on a base finished as a planked wooden deck.
