McLaren 720S Mansory, Magenta Metallic

McLaren launched the 720S at the Geneva Motor Show on 7 March 2017. It was built around the MonoCage II carbon tub, about 18 kg lighter than its predecessor's, with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, the M840T, rated at 720 PS at 7,500 rpm. The headlamp housings hide vents for two small radiators, and the doors carry channels that feed air to the engine. A year later, at Geneva in March 2018, Mansory showed its version, the First Edition: a redesigned front end, wing extensions, side skirts, a more aggressive diffuser and a new rear wing, all in carbon fibre, with forged wheels and a new exhaust. Mansory quoted 755 hp at 7,300 rpm and 780 Nm, 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 345 km/h.

This piece is in magenta metallic, turning from violet to pink as the light moves over it, with the front lid, sills, splitter and rear diffuser in a marbled forged-carbon finish. A thin yellow pinstripe edges the splitter, the side blades and the diffuser fins, and the black wheels have gold-coloured rim edges. At the rear a carbon wing sits above four central tailpipes and a gold MANSORY badge. The car rests on a black suede-like base with a mirrored plaque. It is built at 1:18.
