Land Rover Defender 110, Satin Gold

Deliveries of the new Defender began in early 2020 with the 110, the five-door model, and the three-door 90 followed late that year. The 110 sits on a 3,022 mm wheelbase, and air suspension is standard on it, giving 291 mm of ground clearance, where the 90 came with coil springs unless air was ordered. Under the aluminium unibody, built on Jaguar Land Rover's D7x platform, is permanent four-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer case and locking centre and rear differentials. The car was designed under Gerry McGovern and assembled at Nitra in Slovakia. Later came the 130, with a longer rear overhang and three rows of seats.

Here the 110 is in satin gold with a black roof, the paint carrying a soft metallic sheen along the slab sides. The wheels are black five-spoke with red calipers, the skid plates and rear bumper are satin silver, and the spare wheel sits on the tailgate between tall red lamps. Black wheel arch trims, side steps, and mud flaps with Land Rover ovals frame the gold. The car stands on a mirrored base with a black frame and a LAND ROVER DEFENDER plaque. It is built at 1:18.
