Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster, Light Blue

The SVJ was the last and most extreme development of the Aventador's naturally aspirated V12, and the Roadster followed the coupé at the Geneva Motor Show in 2019 with the same 770 PS. Lamborghini built 800 of them. What set the SVJ apart was ALA, Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva, the first active aerodynamic system on a V12 Lamborghini, which the factory said gave 40 per cent more downforce than the SV with slightly less drag. The year before, in July 2018, a camouflaged SVJ coupé had lapped the Nürburgring in 6:44.97, a record for a production car at the time.

This roadster is painted a soft pale blue, with a single white stripe running the length of the bonnet and a small Italian flag beside each side intake. The roof panels are off, showing white and pale blue seats, while the windscreen frame, mirrors, splitter, intakes and rear wing are left in black and carbon. The wheels depart from the factory design: white five-spoke centres set in deep polished rims. The model stands on a white leather base with red stitching, its black plaque naming the Aventador SVJ Roadster and marking it as a limited edition. It is built at 1:18.
