Lamborghini Aventador SV, Verde Ermes

The Aventador SV brought back the SuperVeloce name, sharpening the V12 flagship into something closer to a track car. Lighter than the standard Aventador and more aggressive everywhere it counts, it carried a 6.5-litre V12, magnetorheological suspension and pushrod geometry, with a fixed carbon rear wing and an aero package that earned its keep rather than just decorating the rear deck. Its intent shows in the shapes: the deep front splitter, the slatted engine cover feeding the V12, the exposed diffuser channelling air between the quad exhausts. It is the version Aventador purists point to, built in a strictly capped run for drivers who wanted the angriest expression of the car.

This one wears Verde Ermes, the bright metallic green that suited the SV's geometry better than almost any other shade, set off by gloss-black multi-spoke wheels, red brake calipers and the SV graphics laid into the flanks and rear. The carbon detailing around the splitter and diffuser is picked out cleanly, and the body holds a deep gloss under light. It is built at 1:18 on a presentation base.
