Superveloce is Italian for super fast, and Lamborghini announced the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015, with 750 PS from the 6.5-litre V12, 50 kg taken out of the car through wider use of carbon fibre, and production limited to 600. In May 2016 Novitec, which tunes Lamborghinis under the Novitec Torado name, released its programme for the SV. It added satin-finished carbon aero parts: large vertical fins at the sides of the front bumper, a bonnet with air intakes, new sills and a replacement rear wing that fits the original struts. New mapping and a lighter exhaust took the V12 from 750 to 786 hp, and Novitec worked with Vossen on a centre-lock forged wheel for the car.
The model is painted a vivid pearl orange. Carbon covers the splitter and its fins, the side intakes, sills, mirror caps and the louvred engine cover, and a tall carbon wing stands above the tail. Black split-spoke wheels frame red calipers, and at the back a Novitec Torado plate sits above the carbon diffuser. Through the glass the cabin is black. The model stands on a white leather base stitched in red, whose plaque reads Novitec Torado, Aventador LP 750-4 SV and Davis & Giovanni, with the edition, one of 10, written in by hand. Davis & Giovanni builds it at 1:18.
