Koenigsegg revealed the Jesko at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, named it after Jesko von Koenigsegg, the founder's father, and limited the run to 125 cars. Its 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 makes 1,280 hp on petrol and 1,600 hp on E85, driving the rear wheels through Koenigsegg's own nine-speed Light Speed Transmission. This is the Attack, the high-downforce version with the large front splitter and the tall rear wing, and its specification follows chassis 7509, the car known as Odin. That car was built in fully exposed carbon with gold flake in the clear coat, then given real gold leaf on its Slingshot, Apex and Pebble Beach stripes, on the Engelholm fins, the rear wing endplates and the mirror stalks.
The model carries that scheme over a body of fine carbon weave. Gold-toned lines run across the bonnet and up over the roof, and the same gold appears on the canards at the nose, the fins along the sills, the mirror stalks and the endplates of the rear wing. JESKO is lettered in gold on the doors and across the rear plate, the five-spoke carbon wheels wear gold centre locks, and the black calipers behind them carry gold script. The car stands on a carbon-topped base with stepped leather-grain sides, JESKO and a small Swedish flag inlaid at one edge. It is built at 1:8.
