Koenigsegg CCX, Carbon Red Stripe

When Koenigsegg set out to crack the American market in 2006, the CCX was the answer: a clean-sheet evolution of the CC8S built around the firm's own 4.7-litre supercharged V8, lengthened to meet US crash and emissions rules and reshaped to run on California fuel. It kept the things that made Christian von Koenigsegg's cars unlike anything from Modena or Stuttgart: the dihedral synchro-helix doors, the removable hardtop that stows under the front clamshell, the obsessive attention to airflow over a body left in bare carbon weave. This is a small-volume Swedish hypercar from the era when the breed was still defined by raw speed rather than hybrid systems, built for collectors who prize engineering conviction over badge familiarity.

The model is finished in exposed carbon fibre with a fine red pinstripe tracing the shoulder line and a matching centre stripe over the nose and tail, the satin weave read against gloss-black wheels with red rim accents. The rear three-quarter captures the signature quad-light cluster and the raised wing cleanly, down to the CCX script on the engine cover. It is built at 1:18 and sits on a dark display base.
