GTA Spano, Pearl White

Spania GTA of Valencia designed and built the Spano in-house. The prototype was shown on 29 April 2009 at L'Hemisfèric, in the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, and the production car, the GTA Spano, followed at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013. It used a twin-turbocharged 8.4-litre V10 derived from the Viper engine, rated at 900 PS and 1,000 Nm, in a carbon-fibre monocoque reinforced with titanium and Kevlar. Only 99 were planned. The shape is distinctive, with a short nose, a cab set well forward and a deep scoop sweeping back from each door.

The model shows the 2013 car in pearl white under a black roof, with mesh-filled intakes either side of the nose, the GTA shield on the bonnet and the Spano script in red on the lower bumper. The scoop behind each door is picked out in black, and the five twin-spoke wheels are black with polished edges over red calipers. At the back, the GTA and Spano badges sit above a round tailpipe at each corner. It is mounted on a black carbon-pattern base with red stitching and a plaque reading GTA Spano 2013.
