Ferrari Monza SP1, Rosso Corsa

When Ferrari built the Monza SP1, it reached past the spec sheet and into its own history, reviving the open "barchetta" spirit of the 166 MM and 750 Monza for the Icona series. There is no windscreen, no passenger seat, no roof to compromise the line. A single occupant sits behind the Virtual Wind Shield, an aerodynamic deflector that lifts air over the helmet, with an 810 cv V12 from the 812 ahead of them. Stripped to one seat and clothed in carbon fibre, it is a road car shaped like a memory of Ferrari's first sports racers, sold only to the marque's most established clients.

The model, built at 1:18, catches the SP1's most demanding feature: the unbroken sweep of the rear deck flowing into the headrest fairing, here in deep Rosso Corsa with a flawless gloss that holds the bodywork's reflections cleanly. The diamond-cut wheels, quad exhaust and matching driver's helmet on the base complete a piece that rewards close looking. It sits on a fitted plinth with a dedicated nameplate.
