The MIG-U1 was Gemballa's rework of the Ferrari Enzo, commissioned by two Dubai collectors, Mustafa and Ilyas Galadari, whose initials gave the car its name. The tuner, founded by Uwe Gemballa in 1981, reshaped the body in carbon fibre with a look it said was inspired by fighter aircraft, about 80 mm wider at the front and 100 mm at the rear, with a front splitter and an adjustable rear wing. The launch material described an active front spoiler lip and a rear flap that lowers at 120 km/h, and the V12 went from about 660 hp to around 700 hp. Twenty-five were planned, but only a single prototype was completed. Uwe Gemballa went missing in Johannesburg in February 2010, and the factory was shut that May.
This piece is finished in Rosso Corsa with a black roof line, and the flatter, vented nose carries grey carbon accents on the bonnet louvres and beside the headlamps. The tall rear wing on its side plates carries the MIG-U1 name, and beneath it the round tail lamps, the GEMBALLA script and two stacked tailpipes each side sit above a black finned diffuser. The wheels are black multi-spoke with red calipers, and the cabin is trimmed in beige. The black base has a GEMBALLA MIG-U1 plaque, and a label on its corner marks the piece as one of 10. It is built at 1:18.
