Ferrari FXX-K Evo, Chameleon Purple

The FXX-K Evo was Ferrari's most extreme expression of the LaFerrari programme: a track-only research car never homologated for the road, handed to a tiny circle of clients who run it under the factory's own Corse Clienti banner. The Evo package piled on aerodynamics: a fixed twin-tier rear wing, a deeper front splitter and an aggressive diffuser that together generate enormous downforce, while the hybrid V12 powertrain is freed from the road car's regulatory limits. It is a car designed to be driven hard and then handed back to the engineers, its data feeding the next generation of road Ferraris.

The colour-shift paint here does most of the talking, sliding from deep aubergine purple through electric blue to a warm copper-red as the body curves catch the light, set against exposed carbon on the splitter, roof, wing and rear deck. Pirelli-shod centre-lock wheels and the full venturi diffuser are picked out cleanly, and the whole thing sits on a finished presentation base. H&H builds it at 1:18.
