Ferrari FXX-K Evo, Azzurro La Plata

The FXX-K was the research car Ferrari built from the LaFerrari for its client test-driver programme, unveiled at the Yas Marina Circuit late in 2014 and made in a run of 40. The K stands for the kinetic energy recovery system: the V12 gave 860 PS and the electric motor 190 PS more, 1,050 PS in all. The Evo package followed on 28 October 2017, shown at the Finali Mondiali at Florence's Stazione Leopolda, as an aerodynamic kit for the existing cars. A new front fascia, underbody diffusers and a large rear wing gave 23 per cent more downforce than the FXX-K and 75 per cent more than the road-going LaFerrari, and Ferrari estimated a saving of 90 kg.

This one is in Azzurro La Plata, a pale blue, with the roof, the centre of the bonnet, the splitter, the canards and the diffuser in black carbon. The tricolore runs across the top of the rear wing, which stands on a central pylon, and FXX-K Evo script sits low on the doors. Grey multi-spoke wheels carry Pirelli P Zero tyres with yellow lettering. At the back are the diffuser strakes and two round exhaust outlets. It sits on a black suede base with white stitching and a plaque that names the car. H&H builds it at 1:18.
