Ferrari F12tdf, Metallic Red

For the F12tdf, Ferrari raised the V12 of the F12berlinetta from 740 to 780 cv at 8,500 rpm, with 705 Nm, and gave the dual-clutch gearbox 30 per cent quicker upshifts and 40 per cent quicker downshifts. The larger change was at the back. Ferrari's Virtual Short Wheelbase system steers the rear wheels according to steering angle, steering speed and road speed. Weight came down by 110 kg to a claimed 1,415 kg dry, and the car lapped Fiorano in 1 minute 21 seconds, two seconds quicker than the F12berlinetta and 1.3 seconds behind the LaFerrari. Ferrari unveiled it in October 2015 and built 799.

This one is in Metallic Red, a deep red that darkens almost to black in shadow, over gloss black wheels with red calipers. Carbon shows on the side vents, the splitter and the diffuser, and the cabin is trimmed in red and black. The louvres sit on the rear wings, and at the back an F12tdf plate sits above the diffuser with twin tailpipes either side and the centre lamp below. The car stands on a red leather base with a carbon-pattern F12tdf nameplate. It is built at 1:18.
