The 499P won Le Mans on its first attempt. The race on 10 and 11 June 2023 was the centenary edition, 100 years after the first 24 Hours, and the number 51 car of Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi covered 342 laps to beat the Toyota of Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley and Ryo Hirakawa after a long fight through the second half. It was Ferrari's tenth overall win at Le Mans and its first since 1965, and it ended a run of five straight victories for Toyota Gazoo Racing. The car had made its race debut only that March, at the 1000 Miles of Sebring that opened the 2023 World Endurance Championship.

This is BBR's end-of-race version, and the weathering is an applied finish: road dirt and brake dust are worked into the lower flanks behind the front wheels and along the sills, over the red and yellow livery with its Shell, Richard Mille, Santander, VistaJet and Adler decals and the 51 roundels. The number panels carry the Le Mans logo, the drivers' names are printed along the cockpit edge, and the Michelin tyres have blue sidewall markings on black multi-spoke wheels. The car sits on a dark grey textured base crossed by white painted markings. BBR builds it at 1:18.
