Chassis 4399GT was a 250 GTO with a British racing career. In August 1963 Graham Hill won the RAC Tourist Trophy in it for John Coombs and Maranello Concessionaires, and by Le Mans in June 1964 it ran as a GTO 64, in red with light blue and on the Modena registration MO 91553. Maranello Concessionaires entered it as number 25 for Innes Ireland and Tony Maggs. It finished sixth overall, five laps behind the Belgian GTO of Lucien Bianchi and "Beurlys". It was the year the Shelby Cobra of Dan Gurney and Bob Bondurant finished fourth, ahead of every GTO, and Ferrari's hold on the GT category at Le Mans was broken for the first time.
BBR finishes the car as it looked after a long race: a patina of dust is applied over the red paint, the light blue nose and the white roundels. The 25 roundels sit on the bonnet and both doors, with a Union Jack on the nose and another on the front wing beside the Ferrari shield. A light blue stripe runs from the bonnet scoop over the roof to the light blue tail panel, and small blue and red lamps sit on the roof. The wire wheels have dark blue rims, the rear plate reads MO 9 1553, and the car stands on a grey leather base. BBR builds it at 1:18.
