Chevrolet LB Corvette C8, Fighter Grey

Liberty Walk's widebody kit for the C8 Corvette is made to order and shipped from Japan: a front bumper, side diffusers, a rear bumper, a GT-style wing and widened front and rear fenders, in FRP or a mix of carbon fibre and FRP, each piece with a serial-numbered certificate. Fitting it calls for wider wheels and usually some cutting. The car beneath is the eighth-generation Corvette, the first with its engine mounted behind the driver. Its 6.2-litre LT2 V8 was first rated at 490 hp and drove through a Tremec eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox; no manual was offered. Production at Bowling Green, Kentucky, began on 3 February 2020, later than planned after the 2019 GM strike.

This one is in Fighter Grey with a dusty finish: the paint is flat, with grey marks applied across the nose and bonnet, and the roof is black. Liberty Walk script runs across the nose and doors, LB Performance along the sills, TOYO and other decals on the flanks, and a California plate reading LBWKC8 sits at the rear. The fenders, splitter, tall wing and a diffuser with four tailpipes are all in place, over black six-spoke wheels with gold calipers. It stands on a white base with a black plaque naming the LB Corvette C8. It is built at 1:18.
