The C8 was the Corvette's break with sixty years of orthodoxy: the engine finally moved behind the seats, turning America's front-engined sports car into a mid-engined machine that could trade punches with Maranello and Stuttgart for a fraction of the price. This one wears Kato-san's Liberty Walk treatment, the Japanese widebody house whose bolted-on arch extensions, lowered stance and oversized swan-neck wing turned the Stingray into something far more aggressive than Detroit intended, finished with the LBWK Old English crest on the doors and a full set of period-correct decals.
The model shows the build in deep gloss red with black multi-spoke wheels, the riveted arches and aero hardware rendered with crisp panel separation across the widebody kit. Presented on a white plinth with nameplate. It is built at 1:18.
