The W16 Mistral is where Bugatti's quad-turbo W16 ended its series-production career. After nearly two decades powering the Veyron and the Chiron, the engine bowed out in a 99-car roadster, and the final Mistral left the Molsheim atelier in a two-tone Pearl and Sparkle finish, with a dedication plate in the cabin reading ‘the last of its kind’. Days earlier, Bugatti had opened La Manufacture, the new Molsheim building for the Tourbillon and its naturally aspirated 8.3-litre V16 hybrid. The Mistral's own engine is the 1,600 PS unit first used in the Chiron Super Sport 300+, and in 2024 it made the Mistral the fastest open-top production car in the world, at 453.91 km/h.
This example is finished in titanium silver over exposed black carbon at the splitter, sills and lower rear, with satin-black wheels, a small tricolore on the sill and a tan cabin. The cool metallic body throws the red X of the tail lamps and the BUGATTI lettering into relief at the rear, where the wing stands raised on its polished struts. The roadster is mounted on a black suede-finish base with white contrast stitching, its nameplate carrying the Bugatti macaron, the Mistral script and a piece number from an edition of 30. H&H builds it at 1:18.
