L'Ultime is the 500th and last Chiron, a Super Sport hand-assembled in Molsheim and announced by Bugatti on 30 May 2024. It revisits the car that launched the Chiron at Geneva in 2016, which split Atlantic Blue and French Racing Blue along a C-line of polished aluminium. On L'Ultime the two blues blend into each other instead, and across the bodywork are hand-written places and moments from the car's life: the Geneva launch, testing at Paul Ricard, the 300 mph run at Ehra-Lessien, Molsheim, Château Saint Jean and Cape Canaveral, where customers have driven at top speed. A hand-written 500 appears on the body, the wheel caps and the rear wing, and the French flag sits on the mirrors.
H&H paints the front in deep blue and fades it to pale blue towards the tail, with the hand-written lines running across the doors and the 500 on the rear flank. The wheels follow the paint, dark at the front and light at the rear, and the horseshoe grille carries a blue macaron. At the back, the extended Super Sport tail houses a carbon diffuser with stacked exhaust outlets, with Chiron Super Sport script below the light bar and the wing raised above it. It sits on a black suede base with white stitching. H&H builds it at 1:18.
