Bugatti showed the Chiron Sport at the Geneva Motor Show in 2018 and left the engine exactly as it was: the quad-turbocharged 8.0-litre W16 still made 1,500 PS. The changes went into the chassis instead. The Sport is 18 kg lighter than the standard Chiron, with more carbon fibre and a lighter exhaust, and it has stiffer suspension, revised steering and a torque vectoring system that shares power between the wheels, all aimed at making a very fast grand tourer more willing in corners. From the outside it keeps the shape everyone knows: the horseshoe grille, the quad-lens headlights and the sweeping C-shaped line that divides each flank.
This one is finished in pale metallic blue, with the C-line, grille surround, sill trims and mirror stalks in bright silver, and a cabin trimmed entirely in red that glows through every window. Two tinted glass panels are set into the roof above the seats, the layout Bugatti offered as its Sky View option from July 2018. Silver multi-spoke wheels stand in front of large drilled discs, and inside are the quilted red seats, the red steering wheel and the slim aluminium spine of the centre console. It sits on a white suede base edged in gold stitching, with a Chiron Sport script badge at the front, the EB emblem at one rear corner and a signature at the other.
