The Bolide is Bugatti's most extreme expression of the quad-turbo W16: a track-only machine conceived as a featherweight skeleton wrapped around that 1,600-horsepower engine, all aero ducts, exposed carbon and a body that looks closer to a Le Mans prototype than anything road-legal. Where a Chiron is about high-speed grand touring, the Bolide is about violence: hundreds of kilos less weight and downforce figures that read like a fever dream. It is the car Bugatti built when it stopped worrying about luxury and asked how fast a W16 could really go. This example wears a special Hermès Paris livery, the calèche crest on the doors, turning an already singular machine into a one-off statement piece.
The casting captures the things that make the real Bolide unmistakable: the dramatic front splitter, the open carbon side pods, the towering rear wing and the twin centre-exit exhausts framed by an aggressively vented diffuser. The orange paint is carried cleanly over the deep weave of exposed carbon fibre across the lower body and wheels, and the Hermès graphics are crisply applied. It sits on a black leather-look presentation base with contrast orange stitching, finished here at 1:18.
