Singer and Williams first showed the DLS at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July 2018. They brought two cars, one for the stand and one for journalists to drive on the hill, and about a week after the debut Chris Harris took it up the Goodwood hillclimb, having stalled it in the paddock on its very light clutch. The car's North American debut followed at Monterey Car Week in late August. Under the carbon body is a 964-generation 911 with a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six of 500 hp that revs to 9,000 rpm, developed by Williams Advanced Engineering with input from Hans Mezger.
Here the DLS is silver, with PORSCHE in red along the doors and across the tail, a DLS plate between the tail lamps and Singer script on the raised ducktail. The headlamps sit in gold rings. The Fuchs-style wheels are silver with dark centres and gold centre-lock nuts, the rear arches flare wide over the tyres, and a tailpipe exits at each corner above a black diffuser. The cabin is dark. The car stands on a pale suede-finish base with a card plaque. Make Up builds it at 1:18.
