Rolls-Royce announced the Series II Phantom in May 2022, for the 2023 model year. The changes were small and deliberate: a new garnish above the Pantheon grille and above the daytime running lamps, headlamps with starlight bezels, and a new set of disc wheels. The car beneath is unchanged. It sits on an aluminium spaceframe, the first use of the Architecture of Luxury platform, with self-levelling air suspension that a stereo camera behind the windscreen sets up for the road ahead at speeds up to 100 km/h, and a twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre V12 driving through an eight-speed ZF gearbox. The plaque on this piece names the Extended Wheelbase version, 220 mm longer than the standard car.
The model is painted a pale metallic silver, with chrome on the grille, the window line and a fine strip along the sill. The polished wheels have curved spokes and RR centre caps, the cabin is trimmed in a light cream, and the Spirit of Ecstasy stands above the grille. At the back the RR monogram sits on the boot lid plate between the slim upright lamps. It stands on a black suede base with white stitching. H&H builds it at 1:18.
