RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF is the Porsche tuning house of Akira Nakai, born in Chiba, Japan, whose wide body kits have been fitted to classic and modern 911s around the world. Most of the cars people know are air cooled, which is what makes this one interesting: the RWB treatment applied to a current 992 generation Carrera S, with bolted on arches, a deep carbon splitter lettered Zweite Entwicklung and a tall twin plane wing. Its livery borrows the rainbow stripes of Apple Computer, the scheme Dick Barbour Racing ran on its Porsche 935 K3, number 71, at Le Mans in 1980 with Bob Garretson, Bobby Rahal and Allan Moffat sharing the car.

The model wears that scheme in white over a carbon bonnet and roof, the rainbow running across the bonnet, down the flanks and onto the tail, with apple computer inc. along the sills, 992 on the door roundels and RAUH-Welt across the top of the windscreen. The wheels carry Rotiform Aerodisc covers inside stretched Pirelli P Zero tyres, the wing has carbon end plates with RWB on the upper element, and a polished exhaust system hangs exposed beneath the tail. It stands on a white leather base with red stitching, its plaque marking the car as one of 99. VIP Scale Models builds it in resin at 1:18.
