Porsche 992 GT3 RS, Viola Purple Metallic

Porsche offered the 992 GT3 RS with a Weissach package for buyers who wanted to take out more weight. It gave the front lid, roof, parts of the rear wing and the upper mirror shells a carbon-weave finish, and swapped the front and rear anti-roll bars, rear coupling rods and rear shear panel for CFRP parts. The rollover bar was CFRP too, about 6 kg lighter than the steel one, and the PDK paddles used magnet technology from motorsport. Forged magnesium wheels saved a further 8 kg. Even without the package, the car uses CFRP for the doors, front wings, roof and front lid.

This piece pairs Viola Purple Metallic with red: red GT3 RS script on the doors, red script on the tail and red wheels. The bonnet centre is carbon, and the splitter, side blades and diffuser are black against the violet. A purple roof box, marked Porsche and Thule, sits on a rack above the roof and the swan-neck wing. The car stands on a white base with red stitching. IVY builds it at 1:18.
