Porsche 992 GT3 RS, Urban Bamboo

For owners who wanted the 992 GT3 RS lighter still, Porsche offered the Weissach package at extra cost. It adds a carbon-weave finish to the front lid, roof, parts of the rear wing and the mirror shells, together with anti-roll bars and a roll-over bar made of carbon fibre reinforced plastic, the bar alone saving around 6 kg. Forged magnesium wheels, a further option, take off another 8 kg. All of it sits on a car that already had carbon doors, front wings and roof, a 525 PS flat-six and a drag reduction system, the first fitted to a production Porsche.

This one is finished in Urban Bamboo, a grey-green metallic, with black GT3 RS script on a black sill stripe and black RS lettering on the silver wing endplates. The bonnet centre is bare carbon, and the satin black centre-lock wheels frame yellow calipers. A matching Porsche box by Thule rides on a black rack that rises from the rear deck, with the swan-neck wing spread out beneath it, and twin exhausts sit in the black diffuser below a GT3 RS plate.
