Porsche 911 Turbo S, White

The 993 was the last of the air-cooled 911s, and the Turbo S was its most ferocious send-off. Where the standard 993 Turbo was already a twin-turbo, all-wheel-drive grand statement, the S took it further: the extra air intakes carved into the rear quarters to feed the engine, more boost, bigger brakes behind those hollow-spoke wheels, and a revised fixed rear wing with its own air scoops. Built in tiny numbers near the end of the run, it was the connoisseur's 911 even when new, prized today as the high-water mark of the air-cooled era before water-cooling arrived with the 996.

Finished in plain white, the model leaves the 993's flowing teardrop silhouette to speak for itself, the yellow calipers and "Turbo S" script picked out cleanly against the bodywork. It is built at 1:18 on a carbon-pattern presentation base. It is one of 20.
