The 993 was the last air-cooled 911, and the Turbo S the most uncompromising version of it: twin turbos, all-wheel drive, the widened hips and fixed rear wing that mark out the final hand-built cars before Porsche moved to water cooling in 1998. The hollow-spoke wheels, sober dark-green paint and tan cabin here read as a deliberately understated take on a car that was anything but, the kind owned by people who already know what it is and feel no need to announce it. The "993 aimé" script and ALD plate tie it to the Aimé Leon Dore collaboration: a quiet, fashion-house reading of Stuttgart's last air-cooled flagship.
The model carries that restraint well: a deep forest green laid over a black split-rim wheel set with a fine gold pinstripe, the tan interior visible through the glass, the whale-tail and wide arches crisply defined. It is built at 1:18 on a carbon-weave presentation base. It is one of 20.
