Porsche 911 Targa (Singer), Metallic Dark Green

There is a particular discipline to the Singer-reimagined 911, and this Targa shows it plainly. Built on the air-cooled 964 platform, it carries the silhouette every enthusiast knows: the round headlamps, the wraparound rear glass and removable roof panel of the classic Targa, the five-spoke Fuchs-style wheels. What separates it is the obsession in the detail. Singer's Los Angeles workshop strips a donor 964 to bare metal and rebuilds it with carbon bodywork, hand-finished paint and a cabin trimmed to order. It is the early 911 idea taken as far as skilled hands can take it.

The dark green metallic is the kind of colour that looks near-black in shadow and reveals depth in the light, set against a tan and orange interior visible through the open top.
